Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Orcha Collective collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Orcha Collective is run by Orcha Systems LLC ("Orcha," "we," "us"). It covers orchacollective.io and our services.

1. What We Collect
Information you give us:
- Lead and contact data when you ask about licensing or reach out: your name, email, company, and what you tell us about your use.
- Checkout data when you license or buy: your name, email, billing details, and the license you chose. Card details go straight to Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Account data if you make an account: your login email and profile details.
- Artist data if you join the collective: your name, contact, payout details through Stripe, tax information (W-9), your tracks, metadata, and the rights attestations you sign.
Information we collect automatically:
- Usage and analytics data: pages you view, what you click, approximate location from your IP, device and browser type, and referral source. We use analytics to understand and improve the Site.
- Cookies and similar tools to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can control cookies in your browser; some features need them to work. The full list and your choices are in the Cookie Policy at /legal/cookie-policy.
2. How We Use It
- To respond to your inquiry and send you a quote or license.
- To process payments, deliver licensed files, and keep records of your transactions.
- To run artist payouts and meet our tax-reporting duties.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To send you messages about your transactions, and, where allowed, occasional updates you can opt out of.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who We Share It With
We share data with service providers that help us run the business, only as needed for them to do their job:
- Stripe for payments and artist payouts.
- Our email provider to send transactional and, where permitted, marketing messages.
- Our analytics provider to measure and improve the Site.
- Our cloud storage and hosting providers to store files and run the Site.
We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer (like a merger or sale), with notice where required.
4. Retention
We keep your data only as long as we need it: for the life of your account or relationship with us, for as long as needed to deliver and support a license, and after that as required to meet legal, tax, and accounting duties (for example, transaction and tax records are kept for the periods tax law requires). We delete or de-identify data when we no longer need it.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data (subject to records we must keep by law);
- opt out of marketing messages, using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us; and
- opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, though we do not sell it.
To exercise any of these, email licensing@orchacollective.io. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including sending card data straight to Stripe rather than storing it ourselves, and limiting who can see personal and tax information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child gave us data, email us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
We are based in the United States and process data here. If you use the Site from elsewhere, you understand your data is processed in the US.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice where reasonable.
10. Contact
